New Delhi, March 1, 2015: Congress President Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Gandhi is likely to enter into active politics very soon. Reports have indicated that party vice president Rahul Gandhi has insisted on her appointment as party general secretary to assist him in strengthening the party at the grass root level. According to party sources, Rahul Gandhi, now on a sabbatical, has been trying to rope in Priyanka Gandhi into active politics for the last three months. Rahul Gandhi's idea of giving her an important role in the party hierarchy has also got the support of senior leaders in the party, according to media reports. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi is reportedly returning to Delhi by tomorrow winding up his sabbatical.
