Pawan Kalyan Questions Officials on Missing Rs. 1000 Crores from Central Government

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan questioned the whereabouts of the Rs. 1,066 crores released by the Central Government over the past five years. On Wednesday, he conducted a review meeting on the Swachh Andhra Corporation. High-ranking officials and engineers attended this meeting. The officials gave a PowerPoint presentation to the Deputy Chief Minister on the corporation's performance.

Subsequently, he inquired about the details of the funds received from the center and their expenditure. He noted that over Rs. 1000 crores were received from the central government over five years. He questioned the officials on where these funds had gone. However, the officials brought to Pawan Kalyan's attention that the finance department of the previous government had not released the funds from the center to Swachh Andhra.
