Telangana Shops to Close by 10:30 PM!

In view of the law and order situation in the state, Telangana police have issued key orders. From now on, shops and other business establishments in Telangana must close by 10:30-11:00 PM. This directive was issued following a review of the state's law and order situation and on the recommendations of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The decision was made in response to a recent increase in crime. Police have advised the public not to loiter on the streets unnecessarily at night and to avoid giving lifts to strangers. They also warned that strict action will be taken against those consuming alcohol in public places at night.

However, these orders have faced significant objections from both traders and the public. Many argue that this will negatively impact the nightlife in the city. A local trader near Charminar mentioned that the area remains busy until midnight. "The government should control crime without causing inconvenience to the public," he stated.

Another trader noted that the preferences of city residents are changing, with families showing interest in evening outings. He added that customers often rush to shops near closing time and requested that shops be allowed to remain open until midnight.
