Home Minister Anitha Visits Tirumala, Emphasizes Tradition Over Politics

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha made her first visit to Tirumala since assuming office. This morning, during the VIP break, she visited the temple with her family to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. After the darshan, temple priests gave Vedic blessings to the Home Minister's family in the Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD officials presented them with teertha prasadam.

Earlier, Minister Anitha spoke to the media at Alipiri Saptagopradakshinam Temple. She clarified that they are in Tirumala to follow traditions and not to discuss politics. She emphasized that their visit was for spiritual purposes and mentioned that they were proceeding to perform a cow worship ritual.

Several TDP MLAs also had darshan of the deity during the VIP break.
