CM Chandrababu inspects Polavaram Project progress

Amaravati: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reached Polavaram. As scheduled, he arrived from Vijayawada to Polavaram at 11 AM. At Polavaram, he was welcomed by Irrigation Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu, Kolusu Parthasarathy, officials, and leaders from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP. Chandrababu reached there by helicopter and directly visited Polavaram.

He is set to inspect the spillway, cofferdam, and diaphragm wall works. From 2 PM to 3 PM, he will conduct a review meeting with officials on the project's progress. He will return to Undavalli from Polavaram by 4 PM.

After assuming office as the Chief Minister, Chandrababu held a meeting with the Water Resources Department officials to inquire about the progress of Polavaram. Unsatisfied with their responses, Chandrababu decided to directly visit the Polavaram project and review the situation there.
