BJP Confident of Alliance Victory in Andhra Pradesh: Kishan Reddy
Union Minister and BJP Telangana State President, Kishan Reddy, made significant comments on Andhra Pradesh politics, stating that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's free schemes are not sufficient to secure his victory in the upcoming elections. He expressed confidence that an alliance would come to power in Andhra Pradesh. Despite Jagan introducing numerous schemes, the prevailing conditions do not favor his victory, Reddy noted.
Reddy compared Jagan to KCR (K. Chandrashekar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana), stating that just as KCR's arrogance led to his downfall, Jagan's arrogance would defeat him as well. He mentioned that focusing on development could have created a different scenario. He also criticized the poor condition of roads in both Telugu states. Reddy predicted that the BJP would achieve victory in the Graduate MLC elections.
Commenting on the Congress candidate, Reddy noted that while he was previously regarded as a fighter, he is now labeled a blackmailer. He stated that the Congress cadre and leaders are not supporting him. He anticipated that the main competition in the MLC elections would be between Congress and BJP, dismissing any significant impact from BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi). Reddy mentioned that the timing of the MLC elections, following the parliamentary elections, would benefit the BJP.
