TDP candidate Pulivarthi Nani raises alarm over potential election malpractices in Chandragiri
Tirupati: The TDP candidate for Chandragiri constituency, Pulivarthi Nani, has demanded the immediate replacement of the election in-charge Nishant Reddy. Nani claims that failing to replace Nishant Reddy could lead to malpractices during the counting process. He reported that CRPF forces have been removed from the strong room in Tirupati where the EVMs are stored.
Pulivarthi Nani expressed concerns that while he is placed under house arrest, the son of Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy is freely moving around. He stressed the need for a discussion about Nishant Reddy in a meeting with the Chief Secretary and DGP being conducted by the Election Commission.
Nani highlighted a potential security risk at the Tirupati strong room, pointing out a route from Chevireddy's hometown of Tummalagunta that could allow unauthorized access. He mentioned that when he raised these issues with Nishant Reddy, the official responded with a dismissive laugh.
