Amaravati: Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP, expressed his delight at the polling trend in Andhra Pradesh. He appreciated the high voter enthusiasm, noting that from 7 AM, a large number of voters arrived at the polling booths to cast their votes.

He described this day as historic for the state of Andhra Pradesh. He remarked on the determination and enthusiasm of the people, calling it inspirational. Chandrababu noted the significant number of voters present at the polling stations by 7 AM and the sustained enthusiasm until the end of polling.

The enthusiasm displayed by the voters is a positive sign for democracy, he stated. Observing the voters' spirit, he suggested that polling could likely continue until late in the evening.

However, to facilitate everyone's right to vote, Chandrababu called for the Election Commission to ensure adequate electricity supply and lighting at each polling station.

He mentioned that in the previous elections, the polling rate was 80%, and seeing the current momentum, he anticipated that it might reach 85% this time.
