Pawan Kalyan Addresses Political and Social Issues at Pithapuram Rally
During a recent roadshow in Pithapuram Mandal, led by Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, he highlighted the prolonged and unjust imprisonment of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Starting from Chendurthi Junction and ending at Kumarapuram, the event saw massive participation from Janasena, TDP, and BJP supporters.
Addressing the gathering, Kalyan reminisced about the pain TDP members felt during Naidu's incarceration. He recounted his own efforts to understand their silent grief and his visit to Rajamundry jail to offer Naidu support during a time when many were afraid to show public solidarity.
Kalyan criticized the current state leadership for arresting Naidu, a leader with four decades of political service, and pointed out the irony of the Chief Minister, who himself has been on bail for the past five years facing 30 charges, being responsible for Naidu's 53-day imprisonment.
He also condemned the state government's hypocrisy regarding alcohol prohibition, noting the significant increase in liquor prices under the current regime. Kalyan pledged to reverse these policies should his coalition come to power.
Seeking support for his candidacy in Pithapuram, Kalyan urged locals to vote for him, promising that the coalition government would resolve any issues in the constituency with the cooperation of local TDP in-charge SVSN Varma. He also mentioned Chandrababu Naidu's commitment to appoint Varma as MLC in recognition of his contributions.
