During a critical moment, TDP coalition candidate Dr. Lakshmi performed emergency surgery to save a pregnant woman and her baby. The woman, Venkata Ramana, a resident of Abbayipalem in Darshi Mandal, experienced labor pains and was admitted to a private hospital in Darshi. Given the complexity of the situation, the medical staff deemed surgery necessary. At that time, the hospital's doctor was far away.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gottipati Lakshmi, who was campaigning about 20 kilometers away from the hospital, was informed of the pregnant woman's condition by the hospital staff.
