Telangana Phone Tapping Scandal: Mythri Movie Makers’ producer charged
Amaravati: In Telangana, a sensational phone tapping case has surfaced, implicating a prominent producer. Following a complaint by the victim, the police have included Naveen Yerneni, a producer from Mythri Movie Makers, in the case. As the phone tapping scandal came to light, victims have been progressively seeking police assistance.
During this process, prominent businessman and NRI, Chennupati Venugopal, approached the police, accusing the suspects of previously kidnapping and threatening him, and coercing him to transfer shares he held. The complaint also mentions the involvement of Naveen Yerneni, head of Mythri Movie Makers.

Chennupati Venugopal further alleged that his stakes in the healthcare company Kriya Health Care, which he started, were forcibly altered. According to him, Radhakrishnan Rao, Inspector Gattu Mallu, SI Mallikarjuna Rao, and four directors from his company benefitted from this situation.
Following Venugopal’s complaint, the company's MD Rajashekar Talashila, directors Gopalakrishna Sureddy, producer Naveen Yerneni, Ravikumar Mandalapu, and Veeramachaneni Poornachandra Rao were named as suspects by the police.
