CBI seeks 5-day custody of BRS MLC Kavita in Delhi Liquor Policy case

New Delhi: In the ongoing investigation of the Delhi Liquor Policy case, BRS MLC Kavita was presented by CBI officers in the Rouse Avenue Court. The CBI has requested the court to grant them Kavita's custody for a period of five days. According to the CBI, Kavita played a pivotal role in this case, specifically in financial transactions amounting to ₹100 crores involving the South Group and the AAP party.

The CBI argued that a thorough interrogation is essential to uncover detailed information. They also provided the court with details of Kavita’s WhatsApp chats. The hearings are currently active, presided over by Judge Kaveri Baweja. There is considerable anticipation regarding whether the court will grant CBI custody of Kavita.
