TDP accuses YSRCP of soliciting donations from gamblers: Chandrababu Naidu
Amaravati: During the launch of the TDP's donation website, party leader Chandrababu Naidu called on supporters and sympathizers to contribute. He mentioned that donations could start from as little as Rs. 10, emphasizing the party's openness to contributions of any amount.
In a significant allegation, Chandrababu accused the YSRCP of collecting donations from gamblers, suggesting that the party is indirectly promoting online gambling through these actions.
Chandrababu Naidu clarified that TDP would only gather contributions from NRIs following the regulations. He urged NRIs to return and work for the party and the state, criticizing the current administration by stating, "Except for Jagan, nobody in Andhra Pradesh has seen improvement, every sector has suffered losses." He lamented that while the country is moving forward, Andhra Pradesh seems to be going in reverse.
He expressed concern over the unprecedented level of unrest and confusion among the people, mentioning fears and anxieties that are hard to understand. Despite the availability of solar energy solutions, the state continues to face power cuts, he added.
He called for a complete rejection of the YSRCP in the upcoming elections, stating that the party responsible for the state's decline should not win a single seat. He encouraged the hoisting of alliance flags on every house and stressed that leading the alliance is a responsibility everyone should undertake.
