Nara Lokesh critiques CM Jagan's dual approach towards minorities

Amaravati: Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has strongly reacted to a media report about an indecent behavior by a YSRCP leader towards a Muslim woman in Nandikotkur, Nandyal district. He accused the YSRCP of engaging in a series of attacks on SC, ST, BC, and minority communities, despite the public affection expressed by CM Jagan towards these communities in his speeches. Lokesh criticized CM Jagan's actions as being hypocritical, praising with words but belittling with actions.

"While CM Jagan publicly showers love on 'my SCs, my STs, my BCs, my minorities' during public gatherings, on the ground level, YSRCP goons are aggressively attacking these communities and oppressing them daily," Lokesh stated. He mentioned a recent incident where a BC youth named Srinivasulu, a follower of Jagan's uncle Ravindranath Reddy, was killed in Pendlimarru. Before the day was over, another incident occurred in Nandikotkur town where a follower of Byreddy Siddharth Reddy, named Srinivas Reddy, insulted a Muslim woman by forcibly removing her burqa as she was returning from Namaz. When her husband and son questioned this action, they were assaulted by Srinivas Reddy with his footwear.

Lokesh warned that the arrogance of power displayed by Jagan and his associates would lead to a unified retaliation from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities in the elections happening in another 37 days.
