Revanth Reddy Calls for United Effort to Reclaim Medak Seat in Honor of Indira Gandhi's Legacy
Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister, has called for the victory of the party in the prestigious Medak Parliament constituency, once represented by Indira Gandhi. He made this appeal during a review meeting with key leaders of the Medak Parliamentary constituency at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Reddy emphasized that the goal is to hoist the Congress flag high in the upcoming Medak parliamentary elections, urging all assembly constituency in-charges and party ranks to work unitedly towards this aim.
Reddy remarked that the BRS party's influence in the state has diminished, and the BJP's situation is only marginally better. Taking advantage of this, he motivated everyone to work collectively to secure the Medak seat for Congress. He noted that the implementation of the six guarantees introduced by the Congress party has increased public sympathy towards the party. He advised that the party's schemes should be the main focus of the election campaign for victory.
He called for continuous coordination among the MLAs within the Medak Parliament constituency, including former MLAs and constituency in-charges, with Congress leaders and activists to move forward. The aim is to energize the people and encourage them to vote for Congress. The meeting was attended by ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha, Konda Surekha, MLA Rohith, former MLA Mainampally Hanumantha Rao, assembly constituency in-charges, and corporation chairmen within the Medak Parliament constituency.
