Why Politics for Cinema People?": Mudragada Fires on Pawan Kalyan
Kapu movement leader Mudragada Padmanabham, who recently joined the YSRCP, criticized Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan today while speaking with the media. He questioned the involvement of cinema people in politics, reminiscent of the time when Chiranjeevi launched the Prajarajyam Party, only to disband it shortly thereafter, indicating that Pawan Kalyan is no exception.
Mudragada expressed his opinion that cinema people are not fit for politics, mocking their ability to contribute meaningfully by questioning, "What will you bring to my home... What will I give if you come to my home?" This was intended to highlight the superficial engagement of cinema personalities in politics.
He confidently stated that Pawan Kalyan would definitely lose in Pithapuram. Mudragada also expressed his displeasure towards Pawan Kalyan for allying with Chandrababu Naidu, whom he considers an enemy due to past grievances. He vowed to work towards the defeat of both Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu in the elections, questioning why he should listen to someone who aligns with his enemies. Mudragada also questioned why he should support Pawan Kalyan, who had to compromise for just 21 seats.
He further commented on the lack of representation in Pawan Kalyan's party, stating, "There is not a single MLA or MP in that party... Why should I join such a party?"
