Hyderabad Student Goes Missing in the US; Kidnapping Alleged

A 25-year-old student from Hyderabad has been missing in the United States since March 7. His family in Hyderabad reported receiving a call from unidentified individuals claiming to have kidnapped him. Abdul, originally from Hyderabad, was pursuing a Master's degree in IT in Cleveland. After he went missing on March 7, his relatives and friends in America filed a complaint with the Cleveland police on March 8, and the police issued lookout notices.

A week after his disappearance, Abdul's father, Saleem, received a threatening call from unknown individuals demanding $1,200 for his son's release. They threatened to sell Abdul's kidney if the demanded amount was not paid.

Abdul's family approached the Indian Consulate in Chicago on March 18 seeking assistance to locate him. The Cleveland police are currently investigating Abdul's missing case. Abdul's mother, in a conversation with India Today TV, mentioned that she last spoke to her son on March 7 and had not received any calls since then. She urged the police to investigate her son's whereabouts and requested intervention from the central government.
