Another Vande Bharat Train to Hit the Tracks on the Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Route Today

Today, another Vande Bharat train is set to commence its journey on the Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad route. Currently, this route is serviced by one train. In addition to this, the Kalaburagi-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train and a Mail Express between Kollam and Tirupati are also scheduled to begin operations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate these services virtually. Alongside these inaugurations, he will also lay the foundation for new projects nationwide, valued at Rs. 85,000 crores.

Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate several railway projects across the country and dedicate the completed ones to the nation. These include 9 PM Gati Shakti cargo terminals, 11 goods sheds, two Jan Aushadhi Kendras, and 3 railway coach restaurants under the South Central Railway zone. Additionally, expansion works on railway lines across 14 routes will commence.

Moreover, under the "One Station, One Product" initiative, 193 centers for selling handicraft products will be launched at railway stations within the South Central Railway zone. These include 55 in Telangana, 111 in Andhra Pradesh, and 27 in Maharashtra.
