CM Revanth Reddy Kickstarts Metro Rail Development in Hyderabad's Old City
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the metro rail route in the Old City on Friday. The metro, being constructed at an estimated cost of nearly Rs. 2,000 crores, had its foundation stone laid at the Farooq Nagar bus depot. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi attended the ceremony. The route, extending from MGBS to Falaknuma, will cover a distance of 5.5 kilometers and include five stations. Once completed, it will enable travel from Secunderabad to JBS and MGBS through the Old City.
During the foundation stone laying ceremony for the metro rail route, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that his government is moving forward with continuous development projects. He mentioned that politics are reserved for election times, while development is the priority at other times. He also remarked that Hyderabad received its drinking water supply during the Congress regime.
