Lokesh Visits Prashanthi Nilayam, Vows to Support Satya Sai Institutions
Puttaparthi : On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh visited Prashanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi this morning. He participated in the pooja ceremonies held near the Sai Eshwara Lingam, which is installed in the presence of Bhagawan Satya Sai Baba at Kulwant Hall. Representatives of the Satya Sai institution warmly welcomed Lokesh during his visit to Prashanthi Nilayam.
Speaking on this occasion, the representatives explained to Lokesh that spiritual and service programs are being continuously conducted through more than 1200 centers across 130 countries worldwide. They mentioned that millions of devotees from these countries visit Prashanthi Nilayam annually to receive Baba's blessings. They also highlighted the Satya Sai Drinking Water Project, which has been providing drinking water to more than 1500 remote villages in Anantapur district and the East and West Godavari districts.
Representatives mentioned that the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Medical Sciences in Puttaparthi and the Satya Sai General Hospital in Whitefield, Bangalore, have been offering free medical treatment to hundreds of thousands of people. Lokesh, speaking on the occasion, said that inspired by Satya Sai Baba, they have been continuing service programs through the NTR Trust. He promised that in the forthcoming government, they would provide necessary assistance and cooperation to further expand the services offered by the Satya Sai institutions.
