Nara Lokesh Vows to Win Mangalagiri for TDP, Dedicates Victory to Chandrababu and Pawan

Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has made a promise to Chandrababu Naidu and his "brother" Pawan, stating his intention to win the Mangalagiri seat and dedicate it to them. During a BC (Backward Classes) rally organized in Mangalagiri, Lokesh emphasized that BC stands for the future, assurance, and a strong community, not a weak one. He highlighted the TDP's contributions, including the allocation of Rs. 3,000 crores for uplifting 4.20 lakh BC individuals from poverty and providing Rs. 1,000 crores for the Adarana scheme, which also included tools for beneficiaries.

Lokesh also pointed out the establishment of best available schools, skill development initiatives, study circles, and schemes for overseas education under the TDP regime. He criticized the current government for its alleged betrayal of the BC community, including the withdrawal of the Adarana scheme, reduction of reservations in local bodies, and taking back 8,000 acres of assigned lands from BC families. Lokesh accused the government of misdirecting BC Sub Plan funds and harming fishermen with GO No. 217. He also mentioned false cases against TDP leaders and supporters, including charges of SC/ST Atrocities Act against Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and rape charges against Ayyanna Patrudu.

Lokesh reminisced about being challenged by Chandrababu Naidu to contest from a constituency where TDP had never won, leading him to choose Mangalagiri. Despite losing by a narrow margin in the 2019 elections, he claimed to have worked tirelessly for the welfare and development of Mangalagiri's people. He vowed to return the favor by winning the seat with a significant majority.

He also listed requests on behalf of the people of Mangalagiri to Chandrababu Naidu, including the regularization of lands where generations have resided, the construction of 20,000 houses for the poor, the establishment of a corporation for Padmashalis (weavers), and the expansion of a pilot project for weavers. Lokesh urged the rectification of issues caused by the Amaravati master plan zoning.

In conclusion, Lokesh reaffirmed his commitment to win the Mangalagiri seat and serve the people, urging the government to take note of their actions as change was imminent.
