YSRCP highlights Prashant Kishor's miscalculation in Telangana

Amaravati: It is well known that prominent election strategist Prashant Kishor made sensational comments predicting the defeat of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Andhra Pradesh. He stated that regardless of what actions Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy takes, he cannot avert defeat and that the people of Andhra Pradesh are seeking change. He mentioned that merely distributing money under the guise of free schemes would not secure votes and that people would trust the government only if welfare is accompanied by development. He predicted that the government in Andhra Pradesh would be formed under the leadership of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

Against this backdrop, YSRCP has refuted Prashant Kishor's comments. The party highlighted that contrary to Kishor's prediction of a victory for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the Telangana Assembly elections, the results were different. 

It was reported that the BRS lost, and the Congress came into power. The YSRCP questioned the basis of Kishor's predictions regarding Andhra Pradesh. They also reminded that Prashant Kishor's entry into active politics in Bihar should not be forgotten
