Prime Minister Modi Initiates Telangana Tour Amid Election Season

In the context of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi is set to kickstart his whirlwind tours of the southern states with a visit to Telangana today. He will be touring the state for two days and is scheduled to participate in various development activities in Adilabad district today. During his visit, he will inaugurate several development projects alongside Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Three Union Ministers are also expected to accompany the Prime Minister.

Today, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate to the nation the second unit of NTPC Ramagundam and the Ambari-Adilabad Pinpal Kutti electrification project. This visit marks nearly 43 years since a Prime Minister last toured the district, prompting large-scale preparations by party cadres to extend a grand welcome.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), the Prime Minister is slated to visit Sangareddy. He will initially address a public meeting before laying the foundation for development projects worth Rs. 9,000 crores. He is also expected to provide guidance to party cadres regarding election preparations. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Hyderabad-Secunderabad MMTS Phase-2 and the new Ghatkesar-Lingampally MMTS service.
