Family feuds and political discontent: Chandrababu Naidu's take on YSRCP
Nellore: At a public meeting in Nellore, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu spoke about the unique political landscape of the state and the strengthening of the TDP with the inclusion of Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, praising him as a formidable leader who fought for justice. Chandrababu Naidu criticized Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for his treatment of critics and political adversaries, alleging that Jagan's egoistic actions were damaging the state. He called for the necessity to oust Jagan from power, mentioning the internal rebellion within Jagan's party due to his unsatisfactory governance.
He also touched upon familial disputes within Jagan's family, pointing out the unfair treatment of Jagan's sister, Sharmila, and her subsequent involvement in politics as a party leader. He defended TDP's capability to respond to criticisms and stressed the importance of respecting family and political adversaries.
Further, Chandrababu questioned the frequent candidate changes by the YSRCP in various constituencies and criticized the party's apparent disregard for consistent political representation. He mocked Jagan's boastful claims of electoral victory in all constituencies, suggesting instead that Jagan's leadership is a bluff and his political strategy is based on deceit.
"They criticize us too. They have criticized Pawan Kalyan as well. Unable to bear it, Pawan Kalyan finally said in a meeting the other day, 'Yes, I have three wives... are you asking to be the fourth?' This left them confused about how to respond... Aren't there any basic values in politics? Watching such deceitful politics is truly disheartening," Chandrababu Naidu expressed.
Chandrababu's speech covered various topics, including the need for better governance, the importance of political integrity, and the impact of familial disputes on public perception of political figures. He warned against Jagan's autocratic tendencies and the special treatment given to his events by state resources, emphasizing the need for accountability and the approaching electoral judgment.
