Heirs and Relatives of Leaders in the Andhra Pradesh Election Fray!
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has recently announced its candidates for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. This time, several heirs and relatives of TDP leaders are also entering the fray. Around 20 individuals are set to test their fortunes in the electoral arena. While some of them are contesting elections for the first time, others have previous experience.
First-time contestants include:
Kondapalli Srinivas (Gajapatinagaram): Grandson of the late Kondapalli Paidithallinaidu and nephew of former MLA Appalanayudu. Srinivas's father, Kondalarao, previously served as the MPP of Gantyada.
Yanamala Divya (Tuni): Daughter of senior TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. She is currently the TDP in-charge of Tuni.
Adireddy Vasu (Rajamahendravaram City): Son of former MLC Adireddy Apparao and husband of current MLA Adireddy Bhavani. He is the brother-in-law of Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu.
Badeti Radhakrishna (Eluru): Brother of the late former MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao. He serves as the TDP in-charge of Eluru.
Varla Kumar Raja (Pamarru): Son of TDP Politburo member Varla Ramayya.
Nelavala Vijayashree (Sullurpeta): Daughter of former MLA Nelavala Subramanyam. She is a doctor in Tirupati.
Reddappagari Madhavi (Kadapa): Daughter of former minister MP Ramachandra Reddy. She is contesting elections for the first time.
S. Savitha (Penugonda): Daughter of former minister and former MP Ramachandra Reddy. She is contesting elections for the first time, carrying forward the family legacy.
M.E. Sunilkumar (Madakasira): Son of former MLA Eeranna.
Experienced candidates:
Bebinayana (RVSKK Ranga Rao) Bobbili: Brother of former minister Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao. He contested in the 2014 elections in Vizianagaram and is attempting his luck again.
Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapathi Raju (Vizianagaram): Daughter of senior leader Ashok Gajapathi Raju. She contested for the Vizianagaram Assembly seat in 2019 and faced defeat. She is contesting from the same place again.
Kagitha Krishnaprasad (Pedana): Son of the late former MLA Kagitha Venkatrao. He contested as a TDP candidate from Pedana in 2019 and was defeated. He is contesting from the same place again.
Tangirala Soumya (Nandigama): Daughter of former MLA Tangirala Prabhakar Rao. After her father's demise, she won a by-election in 2014 and became an MLA for the first time. She contested from Nandigama in 2019 and was defeated. She is entering the fray for the third time.
Nara Lokesh (Mangalagiri): Son of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. He served as an MLC and a state minister. He was defeated in Mangalagiri in 2019 and is contesting from the same constituency again.
Bhuma Akhilapriya (Allagadda): Daughter of the late former MLAs Bhuma Nagi Reddy and Shobha Nagi Reddy. She was elected to the Assembly for the first time in 2014 and served as a state minister. She was defeated in Allagadda in 2019 and is contesting from the same constituency again.
TG Bharath (Kurnool): Son of former minister TG Venkatesh. He contested in Kurnool in 2019 and was defeated. He is contesting from the same constituency again.
KE Shyambabu (Pattikonda): Son of former Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy. Despite being defeated in the last elections, he is contesting from Pattikonda again.
JC Asmith Reddy (Tadipatri): Son of former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy. He was defeated in Tadipatri in 2019 and is contesting from the same place again.
Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy (Pileru): Brother of former Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. He contested from Pileru on behalf of the Jai Samaikyandhra Party in 2014 and was defeated. He contested on a TDP ticket in 2019 and tasted defeat. He is contesting from Pileru for the third time.
Gali Bhanuprakash (Nagari): Son of former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu. He contested from Nagari in 2019 and was defeated but is standing again from the same constituency.
