Kodikatti Srinu Granted Bail and Released After Five Years
Janupalli Srinu, who was a remand prisoner for five years in the Kodikatti case, has finally been released. It is known that Srinu, the accused in the Kodikatti case, was granted bail by the Andhra Pradesh High Court yesterday. Along with conditional bail, the court ordered him to submit two sureties each worth Rs. 25,000. Furthermore, the court directed him to appear every Sunday at the Mummidivaram PS in its orders.
In this context, the copy of the bail orders from the AP High Court reached the officials of Visakhapatnam jail today. After completing all formalities, the officials of Visakhapatnam jail released Kodikatti Srinu.
Family members and Dalit leaders, who had already arrived at the jail, welcomed Srinu. They raised slogans of "Jai Bhim". Kodikatti Srinu, holding a picture of Ambedkar, appeared with a smile.
