Granite lorry hits school bus, no casualties

Hyderabad, November 4: Students escaped unhurt when a granite lorry hit the school bus in Dungidal, Hyderabad, on Friday morning. 
 
The bus of Creek Planet School, Borampet, picked up students at Gandi Maisamma junction and was taking u turn at Sriram Nagar Colony, Bahadurpally on Friday morning. At that time, a granite lorry, going from Gandi Maisamma to Balanagar, lost control and hit the school bus. 
 
There were about 20 students in the bus at the time of the mishap. But luckily none of them was injured. But a woman, who was standing on the road at the same time, was injured. She was shifted to hospital. Locals staged a protest, which led to heavy traffic jam. After local people’s representatives assured of arranging road dividers, the people withdrew the agitation.
