Will quit politics forever if corrupt charges are true against me: Dharmana
Srikakulam, October 31: “I will quit politics forever if corruption allegations levelled against me are true,” said Minister for Revenue Dharmana Prasada Rao on Sunday while addressing as a chief guest at annual celebrations of Sutra Foundation held at Bapuji Kalamandir.
Responding to a daily newspaper report, he faulted for writing that demand for making Visakhapatnam as an administrative capital will create disputes between three regions. “Why conflict will arise if capital tag is given to Visakhapatnam,” he wondered and asked as to what people of other districts have to do if they are forced to move out of Vijayawada after making heavy investments. He spoke about the experience of bifurcation of combined state into two, resulting in loosing cash rich Hyderabad to Telangana.
Is it not wrong to repeat the same mistake in truncated state of AP, he asked and alleged that former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had declared Amaravati as capital for real estate business. Dharmana has said that he is not scared of Ramoji Group Chairman Ramoji Rao and Chandrababu.
