CM KCR okays PRC for TSRTC, but ….
Hyderabad, October 23: The Telangana government gave good news to TSRTC employees, but with a small twist.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave green signal for the implementation of Pay Revision Commission (PRC), which has been pending since 2017. Following a request from the TSRTC employees, the government agreed. TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar also wrote a letter to the government in this regard.
TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan said that since election code is in force in Munugode, they sent a letter requesting the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) seeking permission to implement PRC. After the CEO informs his decision, the PRC will be implemented as per the CM’s orders, he said.
It should be reminded that a few days ago, the Telangana government had announced of giving three pending DAs and festival advance to a tune of about Rs 100 crore to TSRTC employees.
