TDP, YSRCP playing with sentiments of people on capital: Somu Veerraju

Visakhapatnam, October 10: “Ruling YSRCP government and TDP are playing with sentiments of people on Andhra Pradesh capital,” faulted AP BJP president Somu Veerraju here on Monday.

Talking to reporters, he alleged that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has brought capital row to limelight for dragging the same till next elections. “CM wants to politicise controversial issues,” he slammed.

Veerraju mentioned that the TDP and YSRCP have no right to talk about capital. “Why Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is silent when factories are closing down in Vizianagaram district,” he asked and flayed Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao for saying, “I will tender resignation to minister post in support of executive capital demand to Visakhapatnam.”

The AP BJP chief criticised for politicising announcement of railway zone to AP with Visakhapatnam as its headquarters. Responding to remarks of BJP leader TG Venkatesh, Veerraju assured that the BJP will strive for development of Rayalaseema region.
