Akasa Air allows passengers to travel with their pets from Nov 1

Hyderabad: Akasa Air has good news for travellers, especially pet lovers. Decks have been cleared for pet lovers and now they can travel with their pets. It is learnt that a special cabin is being arranged so that passengers can travel with their pets on the plane. The management of Akasa Air said that the special cabin will be available from October 15. Flyers take pets from November 1.

Interested passengers can book tickets from October 15 to November 1. Besides, AKasa Air has imposed a condition for the passengers. Pets should weigh seven kilos or less. It has been clarified that pets of more than that weight will not be allowed to travel.

It may be recalled that airlines like Air India, Jet Airways, Vistara, and SpiceJet are already providing these services. IndiGo and AirAsia are not offering these services. With this, those who are travelling on Akasa Air heaved a sigh of relief as they can take their pets, along with them to their respective destinations.
