TDP, realtors doing padayatra in guise of farmers for Amaravati: Botsa

Vizianagaram, October 6: Coming down heavily on Maha Padayatra, Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the Telugu Desam leaders and realtors in guise of farmers are marching from Amaravati to Arasavalli in Srikakulam district to protect their self-interests in Amaravati.

Talking to reporters here, he mentioned that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP legislators have revealed in the Legislative Assembly with evidence as to how the ministers and MLAs in the previous Chandrababu regime purchased lands before and soon after announcement of Amaravati as a capital.

Botsa threw an open challenge debate to the TDP on north Andhra development. To a question, he stated that it is the prerogative of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to change his party name from TRS to BRS. The minister opined that the BRS will not have any impact on the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. “BRS will be one among political parties in AP,” he added.
