Nandyal: CM Jagan opens Ramco cement factory, says more jobs created to locals

Nandyal, September 28: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday inaugurated Ramco cement factory at Kalvatala village of Kolimigundla mandal in Nandyal district. Speaking on the occasion, he said more jobs are created to locals with setting up new industries. 
 
“Ramco cement will provide 1,000 jobs to local people,” the CM mentioned and assured industrialists that the YSRCP government will extend full support for establishing new industrial units. “AP ranked first in Ease of Doing Business,” he stated.
 
Ramco set up cement production unit at Kalvatala with a cost of Rs 1,790 crore. It has annual capacity of 2 million tonnes of cement. Ramco is the third cement factory in the district after Jaya Jyothi and JSW. Even though foundation stone for Ramco laid in December 2018 but works delayed because of pandemic. Kolimigundla mandal has vast mineral deposits suitable for cement making factories. Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath and officials were present.
