RTC leaders meet CM, thank for implementing PRC scales from Oct 1
Amaravati, September 27: Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) employees led by Andhra Pradesh Government Employees' Federation Chairman K. Venkatram Reddy met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Tuesday and thanked him for taking decision to implement Pay Revision Committee (PRC) scales to them from October 1.
Speaking to the media, Venkatram Reddy recalled that the CM ensured salaries are paid to RTC employees during the pandemic. Jagan Reddy also responded positively for increasing retirement age to 62 for gurukul, aided and university employees.
PTD YSR RTC Union working president Challa Chandraiah said that the CM gave new lease of life to 52,000 RTC employees by releasing Rs 10,000 crore to corporation. He conveyed thanks to Jagan Reddy for paying government salaries to RTC staff. “RTC employees are indebted to the CM,” he added and said Jagan also responded favourably for giving promotions and pensions to them.
