Hyd: Final rites of actor Krishnam Raju held with state honours

Hyderabad, September 12: Senior Tollywood actor and former Union Minister U. Krishnam Raju cremated with state honours at his farmhouse in Moinabad on the outskirts of the city here on Monday by firing three rounds of gunshots in the air and giving gun salute to him.
 
Earlier, film and political celebrities paid tributes to departed actor. Fans from all parts of Telugu states came in large number to have a last glimpse of Krishnam Raju. Expecting commotion and stampede might break, the Shamshabad DCP made elaborate security arrangements. Cremation was performed by actor Prabhas’ brother Subodh. Only family members and relatives were allowed to enter the farmhouse.
