CM Jagan to present pattu vastram to Tirumala Lord on Sept 27

Tirumala, September 11: On behalf of the State government, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will present ‘pattu vastram’ to Lord Venkateswara Swamy on September 27 as part of Brahmotsavalu.
 
Briefing the media, TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy said that the CM will inaugurate Parakamani building on September 28. Mirrors were set up on both sides of this building so that devotees can view the hundi counting, he added. The officials are studying the procedures for the works of gold plating of the temple and a decision will be taken after discussing the matter at the next Board meeting, he added.
 
The EO said that bhumi puja will be conducted for the construction of Lord Balaji temple in Mumbai soon.
 
He clarified that the funds of Srivani Trust are being used for the construction of temples and for the renovation of old temples only. This Trust has received Rs 516 crores and the TTD has decided to construct 1,342 temples in the colonies of SC, ST and BCs across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
