Ram Charan's next project with Kannada director Narthan with Navy backdrop?
Hyderabad: After 'RRR', Ram Charan became a Pan India star. Hence, Cherry wanted to do films that would appeal even to North's audience. Therefore, it is reported that he is listening to new stories. Recently, Tollywood director Venu Sriram and Kannada director Narthan narrated stories to him.
Narthan previously directed the super hit film 'Mufti'. This movie was a sensational success at the box office. With the kick given by this movie, Narthan has prepared a story with the Navy as the backdrop for his next project. It is reported that Pan India hero Yash rejected this story when he narrated it to him. However, when he narrated the same story to Ram Charan, he reportedly said okay.
It learnt that Narthan had narrated the complete script to Megastar before Cherry. Sources at Film Nagar say that Chiru gave the green signal, therefore, Ram Charan reportedly gave his nod to the film. If the film goes to the floors, it will be Charan's 16th film.
As far as his career is concerned, Ram Charan is currently doing a film directed by Shankar. Dil Raju is producing. Kiara Advani plays the heroine. The film will hit the theaters as a summer treat. After the completion of this film, Charan will take up the Narthan project
