YSRCP govt mortgaging vacant teacher posts for loans, alleges Chandrababu

Amaravati, September 5: TDP chief and Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday conveyed ‘Happy Teachers Day’ for all teachers on birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India.

In a tweet, Chandrababu said that our society thinks teachers as God. “Teachers are responsible for moulding children as future citizens of India,” he mentioned and criticised the AP government for not paying salaries to them for the month of August till today.

Naidu slammed ruling YSRCP government for burdening government teachers by imposing non-teaching works on them. “Jagan government doesn’t want employees and teachers to question on scrapping Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) as promised and rationalisation of schools,” he faulted.

The TDP leader alleged that the AP government is mortgaging vacant teacher posts to get loans. He demanded that the state government should put an end to crisis in the School Education Department which was created because of reforms.
