Pornography case: I was made scapegoat, says Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra got relief in the pornography case. Instead of arresting Raj Kundra, the Supreme Court granted bail for four weeks. In this backdrop, Raj Kundra said that he has become a victim of the criminal charge of uploading obscene videos. He said that no woman has spoken against him in this case.
He said that even the investigating agency could not prove any single point with evidence. He approached the Magistrate's Court seeking dismissal of the case against him. Raj Kundra filed the petition in court through his lawyer Prashant Patil.
In the petition, he stated that in the charge sheet and in the supplementary charge sheet, not a single woman said that Kundra threatened him, forced them, or took a video. He said that he did not create any content secretly, he did not broadcast or upload obscene videos.
Meanwhile, the police stated in their charge sheet that Raj Kundra had set up an online platform called 'Hot Shots' to distribute pornography material. This was denied by Raj Kundra. He pleaded to the court that the investigating agency could not gather a single piece of evidence against him. It is known that the Mumbai Crime Branch police have already interrogated Raj Kundra, actress Gahana Vashisht, Sherlyn Chopra and others in this case.
