Why ED not searching houses of KCR family members, asks TPCC chief Revanth

Hyderabad, August 25: Why Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials are not searching houses belonging to family members of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) when probe agency had raided the residences of people, who were allegedly linked to Delhi liquor policy scam, asked TPCC president Revanth Reddy.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here, the Telangana Congress president said that there is every possibility of KCR family members will disappear evidence if the ED delays to search their houses. He faulted Income Tax officials for not sharing details of raids conducted on real estate firms Vasavi Group, Sumadhura and Phoenix.

Revanth came down heavily on the Modi government for using ED and CBI to threaten political opponents and win elections. “The TRS and BJP are trying to project that real fight in Munugode by-election is in between them and the Congress is non-existent,” he slammed. Other Telangana Congress leaders were present.
