Expel BJP MLA Raja Singh from Assembly, MIM MLA Quadri writes to Speaker

Hyderabad, August 24:  MIM MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri on Wednesday wrote a three-page letter to Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy urging him to expel BJP MLA T. Raja Singh from the Legislative Assembly for making controversial comments against Prophet Muhammad in a video and uploading the same on YouTube.
 
The MIM MLA brought to the notice of the Speaker that Raja Singh had hurt the sentiments of Muslims living in India. “In the past, the BJP MLA had insulted Muslims with his remarks,” he stated.   
 
Quadri mentioned that Raja Singh is unfit to be an MLA and requested the Speaker to initiate proceedings to expel him from the Assembly. He pointed out that the BJP MLA always expressed hatred towards Muslims and was suspended from the House for his indecent behaviour in the beginning of 2022. Ahmed Pasha also submitted evidences in support of his claim to the Speaker along with the letter against Raja Singh.
