Rs 15 lakh supari paid to kill Warangal advocate

Warangal, August 5: The mystery of advocate Mall Reddy murder was almost solved. Mulugu police took the case as a challenge and found out that a rice mill owner of Narsampet was the key brain behind the murder.
 
It should be noted that Warangal advocate Malla Reddy was murdered in Mulugu two days ago.
 
The police enquired Mallampalli former sarpanch Pindi Ravi, mining businessman K Veerabhadra Rao and his family members and a few red sand quarry owners on Wednesday. Police elicited information during enquiry of about 24 persons of 44 quarries.
 
Police suspected that a rice mill owner in Narsampet of Warangal district is the mastermind behind the murder. They took him into custody and interrogated. Based on the information given by him, police took some more persons into custody, who were involved in the murder and got reliable information.
 
According to sources, mining disputes led to Malla Reddy’s murder and Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh supari was reportedly given for killing the advocate. It came to know that after preparing a sketch for the murder, the accused spoke with two supari gangs of Narsampet and Sayampet. Sources said that a four-member gang from Kurnool took the supari and killed the advocate.
 
According to most reliable information, all the key persons involved in the murder were in police custody.
