You will be cursed if not voted to YSRCP in next polls, Minister Appalaraju to women
Srikakulam, August 2: Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Seediri Appalaraju on Tuesday participated in Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam, a mass contact programme, at Garudabhadra village in Vajrapukotturu mandal. He visited several houses and explained as to how people are benefitting from various social welfare schemes rolled out by his government.
Later, the minister came across a few women and informed them that they are getting amounts of Aasara pension, YSR Cheyutha, and several other schemes. A second-rung leader told Appalaraju to impress upon women for extending support to the YSRCP in the next Assembly elections. Expressing surprise, the minister said, “You will be cursed if you don’t bless the YSRCP in ensuing Assembly polls.”
YSRCP president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy made it clear to ministers, YSRCP MPs and MLAs to visit villages and towns in their respective constituencies and seek blessings from people in forthcoming elections while explaining welfare schemes being implemented by the YSRCP government.
