Eluru: Over-speeding claims techie’s life

Eluru, July 25: A software engineer died in a road accident on the outskirts of Agadallanka village in Eluru district. M. Harshavardhan belonging to Paidichintapadu village used to work as a techie for a software firm in Bengaluru. After pandemic broke out, he was working from his residence.
 
Harshavardhan on Saturday left to Eluru from his village to visit a bank on a personal work. However, he lost control over Scooty while he was overtaking a lorry due to overspeed and came under its wheels. He died on the spot with severe injuries.
 
On receiving information, the police reached the accident site. After registering a case, the police shifted the body to government hospital in Eluru for post-mortem. 
 
Harshavardhan is the eldest son of M. Bhojaraju and Jhansilakshmi. He got married three years ago. Now, his wife is pregnant. Villagers said that he wanted to go back to Bengaluru after wife’s delivery. A pall of gloom descended on Paidichintapadu village.
