Jagan announces Rs 2 cr to each MLA
Amaravathi, July 19: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has allotted Rs 2 crore funds for each MLA and Rs 20 lakh to each village secretariat for taking up development works.
He held a workshop on ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutwam’ programe at CM camp office in Tadepalli on Monday. Addressing the Ministers, MLAs, YSRCP leaders and activists, he said about 87 per cent of families availed government welfare schemes. We can win all 175 seats with the support of the beneficiaries, he noted. He directed that each MLA should visit seven secretariats per month and should participate in ‘Gadapa Gadapaku’ programme for 20 days.
After reviewing Ministers and MLAs’ work, Jagan expressed ire on former Minister Alla Nani and MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy for not taking up the programme. He also became angry as 10 MLAs have conducted the programme for 10 days only while others were visiting villages just for name sake. He clarified that ticket will not be given if the leaders wont develop their graph.
