India’s biggest Warangal govt hospital will be ready in 12 months: Harish Rao

Warangal, July 18: Finance and Health Minister T. Harish Rao on Monday inspected ongoing works of India’s biggest government hospital coming up on sprawling 56-acre Central jail land here.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Harish said that construction of 24-storey multi super specialty hospital will be completed in a record time of 12 months. “We have secured all permissions needed to construct a helipad over the hospital,” he mentioned.
 
The minister stated that currently 700 workers are engaged for hospital construction. “Number would go up to 2,500 once the rain recedes,” he added. He said that the state government set a target of completing 2 to 3 slabs of the hospital every month.
 
Harish further said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) wants to develop Warangal as health hub for north Telangana. Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod, Chief Whip Vinay Bhaskar, Warangal East MLA Nannapaneni Narendar, Mayor Gundu Sudharani and concerned officials were present.
