Actress Meena shares emotional note on Instagram on wedding anniversary

Chennai: Actress Meena needs no special introduction. She has earned a special place for herself in the industry as a child artiste and heroine. She gave a break from acting for a while after her marriage and recently made a re-entry. Presently, she excels as a supporting actress and character artiste. Meanwhile, it is known that Meena's husband Vidyasagar passed away last month.

Though he recovered from Corona earlier this year, he fell ill with post-Covid and lung problems. He breathed his last on June 29 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai due to an infection in his lungs. Notably, July 12 is Meena's wedding day. Remembering her husband on the occasion, Meena got emotional. Remembering her husband, she shared an emotional note on Instagram.

Sharing the photo of her husband Vidyasagar, she said, “You are a wonderful blessing (gift) given by God. But, very soon that God took you away from me. You will forever be in our (my) hearts. My family and I would like to thank everyone, who showered their love and kindness on us during difficult times. Also, I would like to thank my relatives and friends, who supported us in this situation. Meena wrote that we need the blessings of people like you forever.” Meena married Vidyasagar on July 12, 2009. The couple was blessed with a daughter Nainika.
