BJP-Jana Sena alliance will contest in next Assembly elections: Somu Veerraju

Vijayawada, July 5: In the wake of news reports that Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan skipped Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting in Bhimavaram deliberately as he reportedly wants to break alliance with the BJP, Andhra Pradesh BJP president Somu Veerraju on Tuesday said that Pawan Kalyan sent a video message appreciating the PM for attending 125th birth anniversary celebrations of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju in Bhimavaram.

To a question, Veerraju stated that the BJP would organise its own protest programmes and Jana Sena would also do the same. “The BJP and Jana Sena alliance will contest in ensuing Assembly elections,” he mentioned.

The AP BJP chief said that the YSRCP government is spending lakhs of crores on education and health but the results are not up to the mark. Terming some political outfits have criticised the PM meeting, Veerraju said that the BJP wants overall development of the state.
