Former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy joins BJP at Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha
Hyderabad: Former Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy joined the BJP at the Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Sunday. Tarun Chug, BJP Telangana Affairs In-charge, held Vishweshwar Reddy’s hand and greeted the party activists, who gathered in the ground.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers belonging to BJP-ruled states, national leaders of BJP and others taking part in the public meeting, which will be addressed by the Prime Minister this evening.
Meanwhile, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, grandson of former Deputy Chief Minister KV Rangareddy of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, represented the 16th Lok Sabha on behalf of TRS. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy holds multiple patents in his name for his inventions and is also the first Member of Parliament to be granted a patent from the USA. Moreover, during the 2014 and 2018 Telangana elections, he also stood as the richest politician based on the affidavit.
Vishweshwar Reddy, who joined TRS in 2013 at KCR's invitation, left TRS and joined Congress in 2018. He resigned from the Congress party in March last year. And now, he joined BJP stating that it is the only alternative to TRS.
