Man from Assam dies by suicide after killing wife over a heated argument
Hyderabad: In a gruesome incident, a man from Assam stabbed his wife and put her in a bucket and then went to the Nampally railway station and died by suicide. According to police, the deceased were identified as Mahananda Biswas, 24, and Pampa Sarkar, 22, both from Assam. They came to the city for livelihood and resided at Prem Nagar and Biswas was working as a security guard at GVK Mall.
According to neighbours, the couple used to quarrel frequently over petty issues. And on Monday, too, they reportedly had a heated argument over a trivial issue and around 3 pm, the man had killed his wife and went to to the Nampally Railway Station at 4 pm died by suicide by jumping in front of a running train.
Meanwhile, the Nampally railway police noticed a suicide note purportedly written by the deceased that he had killed his wife and died by suicide when they were shifting the body to the mortuary. Immediately, the Nampally Railway Police informed the Panjagutta police, and in turn, they went to Prem Nagar and after broke opening the lock, they enter the house and found the body of Pampa Sarkar. Then, they shifted the body to the morgue. Later, the Clues team was called in to gather the more details.
